    Job Title: Project Manager

    Location: London

    Working Setup: 1 day per week on site

    Salary: Up to £50,000

    Contract type: 18 Month FTC

    Burman Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious London University looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team on a 18 month FTC to oversee a CRM Implementation

    The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of Salesforce, within the university. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate delivery of project outputs while providing high-quality project support, administrative assistance, and maintaining effective communication channels throughout the implementation process.

    Key Responsibilities

    CRM System Implementation:

    • Manage and oversee the implementation of complex CRM systems ensuring adherence to project timelines and delivery of desired outcomes.
    • Collaborate with colleagues across the institution to ensure seamless integration and adoption of CRM systems.

    Project Support:

    • Provide high-quality project, secretariat, and administrative support, including leading meeting agendas, formal note-taking, and capturing ownership or delegation of actions.
    • Develop and maintain appropriate project documentation, including business case proposals, project charters, workstream plans, risk & issues logs, stakeholder & communications plans, lessons learned, closure reports, etc.

    Action Management:

    • Oversee program or project action logs, ensuring owners are kept on track, updating progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

    Communication Coordination:

    • Coordinate the development and continuous delivery of project communication to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the implementation process.

    Schedule Coordination:

    • Coordinate complex schedules and diaries to organise project meetings or executive meetings in a timely manner, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

    Research and Analysis:

    • Undertake desk-based research to support project development as needed.
    • Analyse datasets and complex information to produce reports or presentations as required, providing valuable insights for decision-making.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the institution and external partners or suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and priorities.

    Risk Management:

    • Support the day-to-day activities to ensure progress against agreed timescales, scope, dependencies, risks mitigation, output, and outcomes.

    Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of project delivery and implementation, providing feedback as required to optimise performance.

    Administrative Tasks:

    • Raise Purchase Orders where needed, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and budgetary constraints.

    Promotion of Values:

    • Build and maintain effective and productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties, supporting the University's values and promoting a positive work culture.

    Health, Safety, and Equal Opportunities:

    • Actively seek to implement the University's Health and Safety Policy and Equal Opportunities Policy, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals involved in project activities and promoting equality of opportunity.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of the post.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the implementation of CRM systems.
    • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
    • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and equal opportunities policies is desirable.
