    Description

    Our client, based in Berkshire, is currently recruiting for a Finance Officer (Rent & Service Charge) on a 4-week temporary contract.

    The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
    The ideal candidate will have experience with service charge calculations and estimates.

    Calculate initial service charges for new schemes and all estimated service charge calculations for tenants, leaseholders and shared ownersReview, monitor and control actual spend against budget/forecastAnalyse monthly actuals against budget/forecast and post accruals/prepayments/adjustments Manage invoicing to leaseholders for service charges and other costsPerform calculations of actual service charges and reconcile to estimates for annual statements to tenants, leaseholders, and shared ownersMonitor posting of service charges and repairs Perform sundry invoicingMaintain cash books for the general bank account, rent bank account and deposit bank accountExperience required:
    Experience working in the Social Housing sector - desirableExperience calculating initial service chargesSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Compliance and due diligenceOrganised individualAAT / ACCA/ CIMA - desirableRewards and Benefits:Hybrid working, 2 days in the office per weekWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday
