    Description

    The Role

  • Providing subject matter expertise and domain knowledge on different or at-least one area of Commercial Banking (Lending, Payments, Trade Finance, Client Servicing etc)
  • Understand how banks operate and what is important in delivery of a successful consulting project to banking clients
  • Lead assignment across a broad sphere of Commercial Banking topics
  • Possess strong delivery skills and track record
  • Be in tune with the market developments in key areas including lending, payments, digital etc and provide insights to clients
  • Support sales opportunities, proposals, RFP responses and client pitches
  • Develop relationships across the industry and be a brand ambassador for infosys
  • Support the development of Infosys propositions and service offerings.

    • Support day to day account management for consulting activities for your client

    Requirements

    Ideally, you are or have worked in a Commercial Bank in a relationship or a product role and have detailed knowledge of one of the areas including Lending, Payments & Deposits, trade Finance etc.

  • You understand the mechanics of at-least one of the products in financial services
  • You have a good understanding of client needs, their interactions and requirements from their banking partners
  • You have strong persuasion and presentation skills
  • An excellent communicator with gravitas and impact, able to work with senior client- and internal stakeholders
  • You can find opportunities to add value for clients, demonstrating strong core-consulting skills and interacting effectively with clients at senior level
  • You understand the industry drivers, regulatory challenges and market trends
  • You understand the role technology can / is playing in re-shaping the financial services
  • Flexible with working on client site and at other locations as part of this role
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in your product class or area of expertise
