    Joelson LLP -Senior Business Immigration Lawyer

    We are a partner-led, London-based law firm with the flexibility to cover a wide array of clients across industry sectors both domestically and internationally.

    The main objective of the role is to be a key senior member of the Immigration team, providing a first-class service to our clients on a range of matters.

    The team seeks to involve all members in client relationship building and business development.

    Joelson is a thriving commercial law firm based in the West End of London, with 60 partners and staff.

    Advising clients on all aspects of UK immigration work, including:

    advising, preparing, submitting, and reviewing visa applications, for Global Mobility Visas, Employer Sponsor Licenses, and Skilled Worker Visas.

    right to work and compliance for small to medium sized businesses or individuals (such as investor, entrepreneur and sole representative extensions and Innovator Founder applications).

    Developing your own caseload and providing support to the Corporate and Employment team client base, discussing fee quotes and tactical and strategic advice with partner/senior associates.

    Managing client relationship and business development/ cross referral opportunities both internally and externally.


    Marketing/Business development:
    Participating in marketing and BD events of the team and firm.
    Contributing to employment & immigration updates and preparing articles for the website and for sending out.
    Attending networking events and engaging enthusiastically with the firm's marketing and BD initiatives.
    Taking responsibility for maintaining and updating your own legal knowledge.

    The Employment & Immigration team comprises 2 partners, 1 Senior Associate, 1 Solicitor, 1 Trainee Solicitor and 1 Paralegal.

    30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility required outside those times on occasion.

    We are offer flexibility to work from the office or at home with 2/3 days in the office, 1 day is adesignated team day, along with1 firmwide day in the office per month.

    Strong academic background (a 2:1 degree or equivalent);
    Demonstration of knowledge sharing skills and business development;
    Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing;
    Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
