Page Personnel are currently partnering with a market leading Financial Services business, based in Chester, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger of aged debt

Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

Manage the collection of debts from company clients and customers.
Monitor and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely debt payments.
Implement effective recovery strategies for late payments.
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Handle and resolve client inquiries and disputes related to payments.
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Contribute to the overall financial strategy and decision-making within the company.
Profile

The successful Credit Controller should have:

A proven track record within a similar role
Proficiency in financial software and databases.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle disputes and inquiries.
