You will be part of a team of eight Model Engineers, who maintain, develop and assess a set of computational models that underpin crucial defence analysis and planning.
The tools used by us, as well as our MOD customer for studies that help us understand the technical aspects of our work and clarify future requirements.
They are also included in an integrated software suite that enables our MOD customer to carry out operational planning activities.

Capture and analysis of requirementsConfiguring, deploying and analysing large datatsetsTesting and analysing of softwareCarrying out model-based study/investigation work and maintaining documentationThe invaluable experience youll bring, to help us achieve moreWere expecting that youve done this role before, so youll know how to do it whilst spinning multiple plates:A sound grasp of the key principles and techniques of physics and maths-based computer modelling, and a desire to put those skills to work solving technical challenges as part of a team of engineers.
Maintaining healthy and productive relationships with several teams among an international group of organisations, capturing and conveying key developments and agreements, so that systems are aligned and compatible.
