    Are you excited at the thought of taking on complex design challenges? Are you interested in the financial and risk machinery which dries our economic system and delivers true value to our users?

    We are looking for a Principal Product Designer (UX) to join our Experience Design team in London working on our flagship platform LSEG Workspace.

    Traders, brokers, wealth analysts, C-level, portfolio managers, researchers, risk analysts, and many more use them in different ways, in different contexts, in different countries, in different workflows, and with different needs.

    This is delivered via desktop, mobile and web. Our platforms and products lead the financial industry. The role is in the Workspace Experience Design team, based in London. The team is responsible for design across a wide range of systems, platforms and products.

    You will work closely with a core team of principal and senior designers who together have a great deal of experience working on complex desktop, mobile and web applications, and in designing for finance and risk professionals.

    Following a user-centred design process to solve complex business problems that deliver maximum customer value
    Conducting user research and defining the structural design of complex applications
    Collaborating with other members of the Experience Design team, including User Researchers, Service Designers, Content Designers and UI Designers
    Ensuring deliverables are consistent with our design system and evolving it where possible
    Communicating design rationale and progress to peers and leadership
    Significant hands-on experience in a UX Design role in complex products/domains, highly preferred in financial services
    Expert knowledge of user-centred design methodologies
    Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field or equivalent practical experience
    Have experience of building strong business relationships across an organisation
    Enjoy seeing your work taken through the trials of implementation and into the users' hands.

    Have a strong appetite for complexity, for thinking about operating systems, for grids, numbers, forms, and for disentangling workflows associated with managing and consuming data.

    Expertise in user research and design methodologies to map the current experience and propose the future experience
    Experience with enterprise-scale Design Systems
    Portfolio demonstrating an expert level understanding and applied experience of product design in complex domain
