- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with ASC, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH, PMLD, and other complex needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate students' individual learning styles, abilities, and communication needs.
- Provide personal care and support to students, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and mobility, as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, and collaborate with external agencies to support students' holistic development.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and support needs, and participate in the review and evaluation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities, particularly those with ASC, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH, PMLD, and other complex needs.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practices related to special education, including safeguarding and personal care procedures.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students with diverse needs.

The School

As a SEND Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students by delivering high-quality teaching and support tailored to their individual needs.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and healthcare providers, to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
The Ideal SEND Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
