    Description

    Contract Manager Position at Evoke Staffing - Swindon

    Evoke Staffing is on the hunt for a dedicated Contract Manager to join our client in Swindon. As the Contract Manager, your main mission will be to oversee the daily operational functions, ensuring top-notch quality, productivity, and cost control. Partnering with the Senior Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all client operational activities, from customer service to warehouse functions including health and safety.

    £38,000 + Car Allowance

    Hours:
    Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30
    Responsibilities:
    • Management of all client operational activities including training, performance management, and attendance.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the client.
    • Anticipate future changes in customer needs and adjust to maintain effective service levels.
    • Identify issues affecting customer service performance and implement strategies for improvement.
    • Respond promptly to breaches in health and safety requirements.
    • Ensure policies and procedures are followed to meet legal obligations through open communication with employees and other areas of the business.
    • Foster open communication to ensure effective teamwork.
    • Manage operational performance and act to improve it where necessary.
    • Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
    • Manage work schedules, staffing levels, and operational costs.
    • Identify barriers to communication and find ways to improve.
    • Provide direction, resources, and recognition to optimize team performance.
    Role Requirements:
    • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics environment.
    • Experience in leading operations in a logistics setting.
    • Understanding of budget setting and operational cost control.
    • Knowledge of business management principles.
    • Exceptional communicator engaging at all business levels.
    • Familiarity with Warehouse Management systems.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and KPIs.
    • Result-oriented and disciplined with problem-solving abilities.
    • Proven leadership skills and ability to excel under pressure.
