    We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Lead t o join their team of staff in the Pharmacy Department.

    This is a full-time role for 37.The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
    Degree in Pharmacy M Pharm or B Pharm or BSc.

    (Pharmacy) on the General Pharmaceutical Council register as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician whose name appears on the General Pharmaceutical Council Pharmacy Technicians register.

    At least 2 years UK hospital experience within a hospital pharmacy department. Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a range of people at differing levels across the hospital, deploying a range of techniques to do this effectively
    Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice.
    Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements
    Ensure that all prescribing is on the CHG electronic software
    Provide expert advice to support the management, prescribing, clinical use and procurement of medication prescribed & administered within an oncology facility

    Motivate and inspire pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to adopt ownership of responsibility for medicine management services within an oncology facility.

    Member of the Hospital multidisciplinary oncology team
    Support the development and local implementation of corporate & hospital prescribing guidelines, and new oncology policies
    Provide an educational resource for the hospital to staff and patients with respect to medicines prescribed and administered in oncology facilities
