    Description
    Subsea7 is hiring for a Quality Engineer to join the Pipeline Group (PG) at the Old Kilpatrick, Glasgow office on a full-time permanent basis. As a Quality Engineer, you will directly report to the PG HSEQ Manager, offering guidance, support, and advice on professional Quality tools, principles, and strategies for PG projects. Here's what will be a part of your role:

    • Reviewing client and international pipeline fabrication specifications and standards
    • Updating Q/QC requirements in project planning meetings
    • Conducting internal and external audits and verifications
    • Monitoring project generated procedures and ensuring implementation of Business Management Systems
    • Participating in non-conforming review processes and root cause analysis investigations
    What experience is desired:

    • Demonstrable background in similar roles with an understanding of global certification requirements
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and certified internal auditor status
    • Ability to apply contract quality requirements and continuous improvement principles
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across all stakeholder levels
    • Report writing skills, proficient in Microsoft Office package, and resource planning experience
    This role may involve occasional overseas travel.
