    Position Summary

    In response to sustained client demand in the area and the continued ongoing expansion of ICSR, we are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience SME, to join our Risk & Compliance practice.

    In collaboration with the wider ICSR consultant base, this person will act as a reference point in relation to Operational Resilience best practice, for both internal and external stakeholders.

    In line with regulatory requirements, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of Operational Resilience frameworks, within our London market, Insurance client base. They will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to embed resilience policies, enhance operating models, and foster a culture of enhanced operational resilience within the Insurance organisations we support.

    Duties and Responsibilities will include:

    • Act as lead advisory SME within Operational Resilience projects carried out by ICSR, within our Insurance clients.
    • Develop, implement and enhance Operational Resilience frameworks and controls within a range of London market insurers, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate alignment of these frameworks and processes.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including within ICSR, developing and delivering appropriate training materials to existing consultancy staff, to embed Operational resilience SME into all areas of the firm.
    • Provide thought leadership materials, including articles for internal and external publication, in support of the continued growth of the ICSR brand.

    Desired Skills & Experience / Knowledge

    • A demonstrable track record of developing and implementing operational resilience frameworks including of large-scale organisational programs and promoting resilience and business continuity.
    • Deep knowledge of global regulatory requirements such as PS21/3 and DORA.
    • Understanding / experience of the more technical aspects of operational resilience / DORA implementations.
    • Proven experience within London market insurance organisations is desirable and candidates possessing this will be at an advantage.
    • Experience managing and influencing stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite.
