    • Working with colleagues and fellow team members in a positive, enthusiastic and proactive way to deliver high quality project work;
    • Leading and assisting, as necessary, the design of large-scale and high-profile masterplans and urban design projects;
    • Acting as Group Leader on key aspects of projects (leading the urban design aspect of a multi-disciplinary project);
    • Coordinating and managing the technical inputs of some junior colleagues, and occasionally external consultants;
    • Writing reports, creating presentations, drawings, diagrams, technical drawings, and other deliverables, ensuring timely submission and high-quality output;
    • Writing and preparing proposals for new projects, including evaluating scopes of work and structuring proposals;
    • Supervising and guiding junior colleagues, including urban planners, urban designers, and interns.
    Qualifications and Experience

    • A bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning or Architecture and a postgraduate degree/diploma in Urban Design;
    • Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant work experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment, with a focus on urban planning and design projects;
    • Good design, writing, and presentation skills;
    • A good knowledge of current urban design and masterplanning best practices and sustainable development
    • Display initiative, motivation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
    • A good understanding of UK and International design and planning processes and the role of all necessary disciplines within a project team;
    • Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language is an added bonus;
    • General knowledge of the following common software types is important with good knowledge in some of the following:o Autodesk products such as Civil3d and AutoCAD;o Sketchup;Benefits and Compensationbasic monthly salary based on relevant experience.pension contribution of between 10% to 16% covered fully by Dar (no deductions made from your salary).performance-related annual bonus.private medical insurance.35% salary uplift for overseas payments during overseas and retail discounts.
