    WHO WE ARELOOKING FOR

    THEROLE

    This is a technical role tojoin a team working on data engineering at CloserStill Media. Thisteam is responsible for ensuring that data is securely managed andflows effectively from source to final user.

    AsCSM continues developing state of the art techniques this personneeds to also work closely with Machine Learning Engineers andunderstand and operate advanced AI models.

    Specific responsibilities for this roleinclude:

    • Data flow: Design build andmaintain data pipelines APIs and protocols as needed to implementand improve CSs strategy.
    • Data Storage: Designbuild and maintain bestinclass data storage solutions best suitedto the business requirements and all data types whether structuredunstructured large or small rapid access or cold storage andincluding metadata hierarchies and ontologies.
    • AI at scale: Facilitate maintenance and updateof AI models across all shows and locations. Ensure data is fit forpurpose as required by AI models.
    • Cloudmanagement: Support the team in managing the cloud infrastructureensuring data integrity security and access control whilefacilitating relevant access.
    • Automatingprocesses: Identify opportunities for automation and implementbestinclass solutions that are both robust andscalable.
    • Scalingup: Actively support andcomaintain best practices in DataOps and ML Ops starting with microservices.
    • Decisionsupport tools: Support dataanalytics leaders in designing building and maintainingdecisionsupport tools such as dashboards and automated notificationsolutions.
    • Technology Evolution: Stay uptodatewith latest trends in cloudbased data engineering anddevelopment.
    • Relationship Building andinfluencing: Work closely with other teams in the organisation toidentify needs and support overall success of thebusiness.

    SKILLS ANDREQUIREMENTS

    • Expertlevel and at least 2 years experience working with Azure includingADF Synapse Power Automate Purview and virtual machines.
    • Azure Data Engineer Associatecertification.
    • Familiarity with MACH frameworks(Microservices APIbased Cloud firstHeadless)
    • Hands on programming skillspreferably on Python and JS as well as data formats such as JSONand XML.
    • Experience with deployment ofproductionlevel data and softwaresolutions.
    • Specific experience building datarelaytype layers and its associated protocols to integrate dataflows from and to multiple thirdparties.
    • Interest on and exposure to onGenerative AI are beneficial.
    • Desired exposureto modern metadata management ontologies and knowledgegraphs.
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication to work sidebyside with highperforming team as wellas openness and flexibility to learn adopt and adapt newtechnologies.
    • Able to multitask and work in acomplex organisation with multiplestakeholders.
    • Knowledge of events and mediaindustries might be beneficial but notrequired.
