    Back To Openings ABPI / Compliance manager 12 Months Contract

    Are you passionate about ensuring ethical standards and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry? We're looking for a dynamic ABPI Compliance Manager to join our UK & Ireland team as a fixed term contract.

    The ABPI Manager is responsible for assisting the local market in implementation, oversight and maintenance of the UK & Ireland ("UK&IE") Compliance programme.

    This covers activities including but not limited to risk assessment of key activities, development and maintenance of country policies and SOPs; development and administration of training and Compliance communications; Compliance monitoring of key processes and reporting outcomes to country senior management.

    This role is expected to identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, ensuring Compliance with company policies, European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) requirements.

    This position requires building partnerships across Incyte regional and local departments and functions to enhance the effectiveness of Compliance activities.

    This position has a solid reporting line to the Country Medical Director UK&IE and dotted reporting line to the UK&IE Operations Manager.

    With guidance from local country management, be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance of local policies and procedures, including regular assessment to mitigate identified risks and meet government, industry, and company compliance requirements.

    Develop annual training plan based on country policies and procedures, incorporating feedback from risk assessments, audits and monitoring observations; ABPI/IPHA Code, regulatory and legal standards; and business requirements.

    Support management team in developing compliance communication plan to reinforce employee and contractor's adherence to company values and ethical standards.

    Remain current on industry trends, laws, regulations, and best practices, communicating relevant and required changes as appropriate to senior management.

    Assist in local audits including developing and implementing CAPA plan as appropriate.

    Perform annual risk assessment of key activities in the UK&IE market, communicating the findings and recommended remedial actions to local senior management and Regional Compliance.

    Ensure the UK&IE affiliate complies with the ABPI Transfer of Value reporting requirements, working in partnership with the Region Europe Compliance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

    Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.
    Provide support to the Regional Compliance Lead for the conduct of targeted regional Compliance Monitoring.
    Minimum of 5 years industry experience, including compliance experience.
    Proven knowledge of drafting and implementing company policies including the communication and training required for successful implementation.
    Knowledge of and experience of audit and monitoring.
    Ability to manage and prioritize projects under tight deadlines.
    Strong attention to detail, focused on producing high quality outputs.
    Strong computer skills including knowledge and experience of using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
    The position is a contract position for 12 month, to start in January 2024.
