    Job Title:

    Transaction Reporting SpecialistCompany: Novatus GlobalLocation: West End, LondonAbout the RoleNovatus Global is seeking experienced Transaction Reporting specialists at Senior Analyst and Manager level.

    The primary focus of these roles will be to enhance our capabilities across our RegTech solutions, particularly our market-leading En:ACT product.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our software solutions remain at the forefront of the market by developing and enhancing coverage and testing capabilities so that we can continue to meet and exceed client and regulator expectations.

    Industry / Regs expertiseRegulatory reporting knowledge across Trade and Transaction Reporting (T&TR) – Exposure to one or more of across EMIR, MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, ASIC, MAS, Dodd Frank or other similar G20 regulatorsExperience in horizon scanning of regulations - Proven ability to assess new and changing regulation, to "size-up" the changes and identify and communicate challenges that will be faced by industry participants in handling evolving requirements.

    Ability to bridge across technology and business facing teams to translate complex regulatory texts into actionable system functionalities (e.g the development of testing rules).Use your detailed knowledge of Transaction reporting to forge internal partnerships at Novatus between our Platform Technology-, Client Relationship- and Product- teams in order to plan and help manage the development of our SAAS product to meet a dynamic G20 regulatory change agenda (e.g.

    EMIR Refit, ASIC Rewrites etc.)Experience (or interest in) producing high quality thought leadership / white paper type analyses for external client use, support of related marketing efforts to communicate with clients.

    Preferred to have a background in working with SaaS solutions, but not essential.

    Business and Technical analysis skillsSelf-starter, ability to work in dynamic working environment and willingness to get stuck in and progress work with limited directionExcellent technical analysis skill-set to gather, navigate and interpret trade / report data –comfortable using Excel, SQL etc to perform analysisExcellent business analyst skills - Ability to produce detailed and precise business requirements and technical specification documentation, manage the hand-over to Technology, perform pre-release testing of end deliverables, maintain in production environments.

    Excellent self-organisation.

    Ability to work to tight deadlines, and changing priorities and manage own workload accordingly with limited supervisionIdeally experience working with Confluence and JIRA type workflows (or related).Demonstrable experience in planning, preparing, and reviewing deliverables in various forms including visualisations, written reports, presentations, and discussions with the client;Have an interrogative approach to ensure robust QA of client deliverables.

    Key day to day ResponsibilitiesTaking a leading role in developing our SAAS platform's regulatory testing rulesets in line with changing and new regulatory requirementsStay updated on changes in regulatory requirements; analyse, translate and execute changes and enhancements to our SAAS product to ensuring our clients' compliance and adherence to reporting standards.

    Design detailed test scripts and scenarios. Assist with test execution tasks, including booking test trades in the relevant source systems and checking-out results.

    Work with Product team to understand evolving requirements across our growing client base to understand requirements and translate into functional requirements for our development teamsProcess Improvement:
    Continuously review and improve our processes, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrityTraining and

    Knowledge Sharing:

    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in transaction reporting, share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
