    Enterprise monitoring administrator - United Kingdom - The University of Edinburgh

    Description

    We are recruiting a System Administrator to join the People & Money Service to support the system administration of the University's Finance and HR processes implemented in our Oracle Fusion based People & Money system.

    The role of People & Money Systems Administrator is focused on the monitoring and maintenance of the People & Money system, the active resolution of issues, and the identification and implementation of actions to prevent issues reoccurring.

    Working in the cross functional People & Money Service, Systems Administrators will complete high frequency/standardised configuration tasks and monitor systems processes and interfaces – responding to issues within standard operating procedures and escalating as required
    The role is open ended (permanent) and full time (35 hours per week).

    It is based in central Edinburgh and successful candidates are expected to be on site a minimum of 2 days per week.

    Maintain assignment to Approval Groups, Data Access Sets and Areas of Responsibility as required. Deliver standard configuration and data uploads updates to the system including chart of accounts updates. Support the People & Money Partners to deliver and maintain complex configuration.
    Monitor the People and Money helpdesk queue and advise users on access related queries.

    Experience of supporting ERP systems, in particular Oracle Fusion.
