    Talent Acquisition Specialist - London, United Kingdom - The Travel Corporation

    Description


    As the Talent Acquisition Specialist within our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the recruitment process for all departments, providing a comprehensive and proactive service across The Travel Corporation and assist the team in delivering day to day processes and procedures.

    Talent Acquisition Planning & SupportDevelop individual, tactical recruitment plans with hiring managers.
    Contribute to recruitment strategies and assessment days.
    Support apprentice/graduate programmes.
    Identify suitable talent acquisition channels for all departments and brands.

    Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for hard-to-hire and specific vacancies, sourcing the very best candidates using a variety of channels.

    Working closely with agencies to source candidates for specific roles.
    Provide recruitment help, guidance, and support for hiring managers.
    Coach hiring managers on interview techniques and ensure legislative requirements are adhered to.
    Conduct preliminary stage interviews to assess candidate suitability on behalf of hiring managers.
    Stay up to date with industry trends in both recruitment and travel.
    Recruitment AdministrationEnsuring recruitment files are up to date with candidate info, in line with GDPR considerations.
    Responsible for accurate and timely contract communication, creation, and delivery to all candidates.
    Manage the Talent Acquisition system to achieve business goals and objectives.
    Management of the P&C System – including contracts of employment.
    Scheduling interviews based on candidate and stakeholder availability.
    Conducting right-to-work checks, and liaising with 3rd parties to organise work sponsorship where necessary.

    Employee Value Proposition (EVP)Continue to build a presence on LinkedIn for TTC as a leading employer within the travel and tourism space.

    Use LinkedIn to advertise roles being recruited for at TTC.Research and enter relevant employment awards within the industry.

    Identify ways to continuously improve TTC's EVP.End to end organisation for job shows, university careers fairs, or equivalent, helping to build a pipeline of candidates.

    People & CultureAs part of the wider P&C team, being involved in organising company wide events and office socials.
    Contributing to a dynamic office culture characterised by diversity, equity and inclusion.
    ExperienceProven experience within a similar role, or equivalent.
    Proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
    An excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
    Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail.
    Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (written and verbal), building good relationships.
    You must be reliable and should accurately follow guidance with the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.

    A positive approach; proactive and innovative; with a vision of continuously adding value with a "can do- will do" attitude.

    Strong attention to detail and time management skills, be able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
    Contribute to the People & Culture team directives and strategies to enhance talent acquisition, employee engagement and employee retention.
    Actively participate in adding value through People & Culture to the TTC business goals.
