    DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

    Join our team at Goldman Sachs as a Global Privacy Office member in London! We strive to prevent, detect, and mitigate compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks across the firm to strengthen our culture of compliance. You'll work alongside professionals from various backgrounds to assess risks, monitor compliance, design controls, and lead responses to regulatory inquiries.     Your role will involve:

    • Providing privacy advisory guidance to stakeholders
    • Reviewing products and business activities for privacy compliance
    • Developing and overseeing privacy requirements
    • Assessing third-party vendors and data integrations for privacy
    • Supporting implementation of privacy laws and regulations
    • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop privacy frameworks
    • Implementing and overseeing privacy controls and technologies
    • Drafting responses to data subject requests
    • Developing data protection records and compliance assessments
    • Reviewing and revising data privacy policies and procedures
    • Delivering privacy and data protection training

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Knowledge of international privacy regulatory frameworks
    • Experience in financial services is a plus
    • Experience with governance frameworks for cookies and tracking technologies
    • Experience in Data Protection, Privacy Risk, or Legal functions
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • Proactive and adaptable mindset
    • Understanding of digital and retail businesses
    • Privacy certifications preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
