To oversee all loading activities and to take responsibility for all warehouse functions on the shift ensuring that work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, meeting the agreed quality and service levels of Alloga, its clients and governing bodies and also to deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
To manage a workload of 70-90 outbound trailers per 8 hours night shift.Provide regular communication to all supervisor who will be affected by any change that a project may deliver.
To report any damage or defect whether it be to road or on-site equipment or property to the Loading Manager and Facilities Manager
Monitor standards of operation and behaviours to ensure that safe systems of work are being followed and policy requirements are being maintained.
To adhere to Department of Transport regulations for Air Freight SecurityTo ensure that all doors are always secured or manned ensuring no unauthorized entry to site by challenging any personnel not displaying a valid identity pass.
To take responsibility for all staff training to maximise their efficiency and to ensure training SOPs are completed and recorded on the training database.
Operational ManagementTo ensure that all direct reports always adhere to the Company Health & Safety policies/standards.
To ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the HS&E Manager
To control the weekly charging reports including any Ad hoc activity.
To ensure that the Site Performance KPI results are to the agreed targets and/or plans are in place to achieve set targets.
