    The Test Manager will run the testing function across Openwork's software estate, managing resource, demand and environments. Liaising with all levels of the business to coordinate testing requirements, estimates, schedules and 3rd party dependencies. Ensuring all software is released to the best possible quality and acting as an SME for Openwork's systems, advising and consulting on projects and business developments.

    The benefits:

    • Salary - Up to £70,000

    • Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 15%

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Act as a key point of contact for inter and intra departmental interaction

    • Represent the test team for the business across all levels and enabling customer relationships

    • Manage the testing resource, schedule and workloads across full range of projects

    • Identify and agree the testing activities for testers and wider team members

    • Plan the full Openwork testing process

    • Checking and coordinate the availability of the resources to execute testing activities across full program of development

    • Reviewing stories, requirements, acceptance criteria and test scripts to ensure fit for purpose and maintain quality

    What will you need to succeed?


    • Experience of User, System and Performance Testing.

    • Background in Financial Services (other than banking) and IT.

    • Has worked with external software houses and 3rd party integrators E.g. IRESS, Intelliflo, Zurich, IFDL etc

    • ISEB Foundation qualification

    • Understanding of the project life cycle and business processes.

    • Good experience of Agile working practices

    • Knowledge of Defect Reporting processes and software.
