    About the Role


    We are seeking a savvy Senior Land Buyer to drive our business forward in the Eastern region, based at our St Albans office.


    You will lead, develop, and oversee our land team in scouting and evaluating potential development sites in the region.


    In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Land Director, as well as our planning, construction, and design teams on a daily basis. Expect a dynamic, sociable position involving regular interactions with Local Authorities, Estate Agents, and Land Owners. Your core responsibility will be to identify land purchase opportunities aligned with Regional Land goals.


    This role presents an exciting chance to contribute to the company's expansion through site acquisitions, witnessing the fruits of your labor in successful planning approvals and delighted customers enjoying their secure, independent homes.


    Your responsibilities will span discovering new sites, negotiating purchases, and conducting thorough settlement reviews.


    Your work hours are Monday to Thursday from 9.00am to 5.30pm and Fridays from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Be prepared for potential overtime during peak periods and frequent travel outside the office.



    About You


    Required qualifications include substantial experience in Land acquisition within the property industry, particularly in urban areas. You should excel in decision-making, negotiation, communication, and organization.


    You must demonstrate effective team management skills, including training and one-on-one sessions.


    Analytical, ambitious, and goal-oriented professionals who enjoy exceeding targets and tackling obstacles will thrive in this role.


    A valid UK driver's license is a must, given the significant off-site presence required.
