We have an exciting opportunity forenthusiastic, flexible and committed Band 3 Technical Instructor to join ourexisting LLR Falls Prevention Service. This post will be based in the East ofLeicestershire covering the areas of Melton, Rutland and Market Harborough.
The team provides patients with specialistfalls assessment and rehabilitation in both community and outpatient settingseither on a 1-1 basis or in groups. This involves working with patients intheir own homes, outpatient departments and other community venues. You will bepart of a multidisciplinary team which includes Consultant Geriatricians,Nurses and Therapists.
This post requires experience working with patients who are at risk of falls. Experienceworking in the community would also be desirable. Excellent organisation,communication and team working skills are required for this position.

Main duties of the job
The role involves the delivery of communityrehabilitation for patients who have fallen or are at risk of falling. Thisrole includes working with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists incarrying out group exercise and education classes. You will also be involved inseeing patients in their own homes and following treatment plans set by one ofthe falls therapy team. This will involve delivering home exercise programmes(HEP) or reviewing equipment that has been ordered. You will also work closelywith the Therapists in updating those treatment plans and helping to progresspatients through their rehabilitation.
