    To work as an autonomous, advanced practitioner and effectively deliver an expert nursing service within the specialist area.
    To support the colorectal CNS team in both surgical and oncology.
    To assist in the development of evidence based clinical nursing practice in line with current research and guidelines.

    To link with healthcare teams in order to increase knowledge and facilitate the care of this group of people in the community.

    You will be running nurse led diagnostic clinics reviewing patients and booking appropriate tests to rule in or out colorectal cancers.

    To develop own nurse led telephone clinics in conjunction with the consultants and the outpatient department, after consultation with the Colorectal Cancer Lead Nurse and key stakeholders.

    To support the Trusts' in achieving compliance with Direct-to-Test, Urgent Suspected Cancer (USC) and Referral to Treatment waiting time targets including 28 day Faster Diagnosis Service.

    To support the Lower GI surgical care pathway in line with the Nurse Specialists Team.

    Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a health related subject, or working towards
