Spotify seeks a Production Manager to join its team in London

The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who will contribute to video podcast production of Spotify's owned and licensed shows (including The Ringer portfolio) as well as partner productions.

The producer will collaborate directly with hosts and show teams to oversee all aspects of in-studio sessions, edit both audio and video podcast episodes, and provide technical expertise.

The producer may also supervise a small group of engineers and producers.

The primary focus will be on in-studio production, but the producer will also be involved in remote and on-location productions as required.

The individual in this role must possess strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages.

Candidates should have a passion for podcasts and excellent post-production skills. The ideal candidate is strategic, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

- Lead in-studio sessions, collecting audio and video for Spotify's podcast portfolio and partners using the London studios regularly
- Edit audio and video podcasts, including mixing audio, and video editing, and basic graphics implementation
- Provide technical support for Spotify hosts and partners, including solutions for field and remote shoots
- Produce advertising spots for the show portfolio
- Maintain studio spaces to meet talent's needs and industry standards
- Lead other studio team members
- Collaborate with show teams to identify and implement technical enhancements
- Establish and maintain a structured environment for creative work with partners
- Foster collaboration with internal departments to manage and communicate effectively

Who You Are:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital video production, including video podcasts, YouTube, and Twitch content
- Able to work from Spotify's London office up to five days a week
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and the complete Adobe suite
- Skilled in mixing and mastering audio for podcasts
- Experience working with high-profile talent and guests
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess content with good judgment
- Thrives in meeting tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
- Experience in managing and training production staff
