    In 2024, we'll be launching across the EU, following our successful launch in Sweden and our new office launching in Budapest. We'll also be transforming our product, developing new features and introducing new products. In the UK, we now have over 1.6m registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus.

    Responsible for the management of the Corporate Actions team. Train members of the team and manage tasks related to securities lending while also working on improving the growth of this initiative.

    You will...

    • Oversee the daily running of the Corporate Action team, managing the life cycle of all events such as Rights Issues, Open offers, Redemptions, Bonus Issues, Scheme of Arrangements, conversions, takeovers,IPO/Placings, Agm/Proxy voting and ensuring all clients are informed ahead of deadlines
    • Ensuring all dividends are paid on time to clients
    • Ensuring adequate controls are in place to handle responses and queries from all retail clients and carry out their instructions accordingly
    • Accurately entering and maintaining records on internal systems
    • Preparation of MI for monthly management meetings
    • Preparation of ROI return to Inland Revenue
    • Reconciliation of US income for filing annual US tax return to the IRS
    • Drafting and continual updating of procedures including ongoing ownership of accuracy
    • Challenge existing processes and recommend changes resulting in improved service quality, process efficiency and reduction in risk
    • To ensure that knowledge of impending changes with the industry, whether regulatory or technical are at a level to fulfil the above
    • Participation in key departmental projects and undertake any additional operational tasks when requested by Line Manager

    You have...

    • 5+ years of Corporate Actions experience
    • You have strong industry experience - at least 5 years in Management
    • You are interested in financial services and are passionate about delivering good outcomes to customers
    • You are a strong and supportive manager and can get the best out of your team. You are keen to share your knowledge and are open to giving (and receiving) continuous feedback
    • You are a strong communicator who thrives working cross-functionally across the firm
    • You can influence people of all grades to deliver the right outcomes for clients
    • You are excited about what we're doing at Freetrade and where we're headed
