Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketeer to join our team as the Head of Growth Marketing and Trading.
Reporting to the Head of Subscriptions & Memberships, the Head of Growth Marketing and Trading at Findmypast will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth through strategic initiatives, driving product marketing strategies and effective trading activities.
You will be responsible for leading the performance and product marketing teams, working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with brand marketing, product, content, and data teams to optimise user acquisition and subscription revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute Growth Marketing Strategies:
Design and implement comprehensive growth strategies to expand new users, subscribers and increase subscription revenue.
Collaborate with brand marketing and product teams to drive user acquisition through various channels (paid, earned, and owned).
Lead an experimentation framework to continuously test, learn and scale marketing activity.
Trading and Revenue Optimisation:
Lead trading activities to maximise revenue from existing customer segments.
Utilise data-driven insights to identify and capitalise on market trends and opportunities.
Own and drive the trading calendar across the business, ensuring all stakeholders are ready to deliver to key moments, like peak trading.
Lead the weekly trading meetings.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with product, brand marketing and data analytics teams to align growth strategies with overall business objectives.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Embed yourself and have influence in our 'family' structure, aligning closely with product teams that drive acquisition, engagement, and hobby retention.
Product Marketing:
Work closely with the product team to understand new product features and development roadmap
Lead the Go To Market meetings ensuring marketing initiatives are planned and delivered effectively
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
Keep up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Use data and market insights to inform growth and trading strategies.
Team and Stakeholder Leadership:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of growth and product marketeers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.Work closely with stakeholders and provide leadership in Growth Marketing
Budget Management:
Manage and optimise budgets for growth initiatives and trading activities.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI (return on investment).
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in leading growth and trading functions, preferably in the tech or e-commerce industry.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience:
Solid experience in a leadership role within subscription, marketing, trading, or a related field.
Experience working with SaaS products.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and optimising trading activities.
Experience in working with subscription products, working with acquisition, retention and monetisation strategies.
