    Description
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Telecommunication Engineer to join our Telecommunications Provider client's team.

    This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of their network infrastructure while collaborating with a talented team of professionals.


    Network Security Management:
    Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security measures to fortify the network against potential threats.

    Network Assessment and Troubleshooting:
    Conduct network assessments and efficiently troubleshoot issues related to IP networks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and deploy network solutions that meet business objectives and requirements.

    Performance Monitoring and Enhancement:
    Monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancements to ensure maximum efficiency.

    Technical Support and Mentorship:

    Offer technical support and guidance to junior engineers, aiding in their professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment.

    Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance telecommunications infrastructure and capabilities continually.

    Project Planning and Execution:
    Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
    Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

    Proficiency in Cisco Meraki and other relevant networking technologies.
    Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network security protocols.
    Thorough knowledge of IP networks and the ability to troubleshoot related issues effectively.
    Proactive approach to monitoring network performance and identifying areas for improvement.
    Ability to provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
    Project management skills to contribute effectively to project planning and execution.
