    Are you looking for a worthwhile and rewarding role in palliative care influencing clinical practice development and continuous learning?

    Phyllis Tuckwell provides supportive and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness. Phyllis Tuckwell is based in Farnham and Guildford and serves a population of 550,000 across West Surrey and NE Hampshire.

    An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse working with our Phyllis Tuckwell Education and Clinical teams across our Farnham, Guildford and Camberley sites and into the community.

    30 hours per week

    Salary £34,533.60 per annum (WTE £43,167 based on 37.5 hours)

    We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with current post registration experience in palliative care or relevant practice, to work as part of the Education team to help promote a culture of critical thinking evidence and skills-based practice, through practice development and continuous learning. Phyllis Tuckwell has a positive approach to developing and sharing knowledge, so this role would ideally suit a clinician whose passion is to drive forward clinical practice contributing to quality improvement and clinical leadership. The role encompasses the assessment of clinical skills and competences, support in practice, as well as supporting the development and review of clinical policies and guidelines as a team approach.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, current clinical experience and being a team player are essential requirements, working with teams and managers to deliver high quality services for patients, carers, and their families.
