    Description

    My client are looking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Advanced Practice Team, with a competitive salary range on offer, up to £70,000, depending upon experience.

    This is mainly a Monday to Friday role with some weekend shifts too, in addition to potential night-based shifts in the future as the service continues to develop.

    The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in collaboration with consultants and the multidisciplinary team will provide direct patient care within a specialist surgical hospital, and support the Director of Advanced Practice in delivering key performance targets.

    The role will be responsible for the delivery of care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions, including the delivery of acute care services across specialisms including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurologic, Spinal, Gastrointestinal, and Orthopaedics surgery.

    My client offers a brand-new high-acuity environment with the very latest equipment, where caregivers are encouraged to grow their expertise across multiple specialties, and in collaboration with expert clinicians.

    Conducts thorough medical histories, performs complete physical examinations, initiates appropriate lab, imaging tests or other special tests required for evaluation of illness, and scrutinizes lab data on new and former clinic patients and hospital admissions to establish a record of the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan.


    • Performs routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, blood draws, designated IV starts, managing simple conditions produced by infection or trauma, assisting in the management of more complex illness and injury which may include assisting surgeons in conducting operations.
    Current regulatory body registration with the NMC, with no restrictions to practice, required

    • Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
    • Immediate Life Support (ILS), required.
