- Proven ability to learn finance software (Access Financials) and understand the end to end data processes relating to Finance
- Production of consolidated monthly management accounts
- Production of statutory accounts for all businesses within the group
- Lead and implement key financial strategies and initiatives
- Develop and lead the Finance and Management Information (MI) Teams
- Building bespoke financial models
- Advising the business owner on accounting and tax matters
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial rules, regulations, accounting principles, and best practices
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to support (investment) decision-making and to drive business growth
- Maintenance of the Risk Register and identification of mitigation strategies
- Liaise with external parties e.g. bank, external auditors, tax advisors
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience
- Proven track record of success as a Finance Director or in a similar senior finance role
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices
- Strong technical financial accounting skills
- A working knowledge of Access Financials (desirable), and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in strategic planning, financial modelling, and risk management
- Commercial acumen
