    Job Description

    Do you enjoy spending your days designing and implementing automated security processes but no one outside of work really understand what you do, or who you do it for?

    Would like to do this with well recognised eCommerce brand where you get the opportunity to lead programs across across vulnerability management?

    You could even tell your friends about it and they would at least know exactly who you work for.

    You'll get to consult across various product engineering teams, platform engineering teams while designing and integrating security best practices into their engineering solutions. You've discovering innovative solutions to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and delighting the teams with these solutions. You'll be working with a small team focused on the Security aspects of all solutions to ensure that product owners get the feature they require but they of the highest quality and security.

    You will need to have

    Development skills with either an object oriented language like Java, or strong Python skills.

    Great skills in security tooling, automation and scripting.

    Knowledge of security best practices in at least one of the following domains

    • API security across RESTful and GraphQL.
    • Web applications.
    • AWS hosted infrastructure.

    Any further experience with the following would be ideal but not essential .

    • Leading security initiatives impacting an engineering platform Experience working with a DevOps approach for delivery and operations of services
    • Demonstrated experience developing AWS or other cloud native applications
    • Experience with CI/CD , Gitlab and Terraform
    • Experience working with build tooling
    • Docker or other containerisation, kubernetes cluster and orchestration
    • SQL / NoSQL data stores
    • Web applications and HTTP servers
    • PCI DSS

    What You'll Get

    • £80 - 90,000 base salary.
    • 12% Bonus.
