    About you...

    The successful candidate will :

    • Have relevant Skills, Experience and Qualification(s).
    • Experience in managing multi-disciplined teams.
    • Hold a relevant health and safety qualification(s).
    • Have a tenant focussed approach.
    • Be able to produce data to manage effective delivery and performance.
    • Be able to engage all stakeholders and develop strong relationships.
    • Have your own vehicle with a full driving licence.

    What you'll do...

    • This position has responsibility for ensuring that the customer receives an excellent value for money service from the work streams they lead.
    • Provide your teams the support and direction they require whilst empowering them to make decisions in a safe environment.
    • Manage Repairs/Voids maintenance services that are both internally and externally delivered and the associated material suppliers.

    What you'll be responsible for...

    • Developing the procedures required to set the Team's direction, with reference to relevant strategies and policies, establishing mechanisms to monitor compliance with those procedures.
    • Supporting the Senior Lead/Director to develop a budget to meet your Team's activities in the short term, ensuring it represents good value for money.
    • Monitoring the Team skills to deliver the services in regard to both the direct trade team and the office staff.
    • Ensuring that health, safety and quality obligations are understood and implemented in relation to our homes, the direct delivery teams and through our contracted works.
    • Ensuring that the Directorate Management Team and Line Manager are appropriately informed and advised on the activities of your Team.
    • Ensuring activities within the void workstream are appropriately planned and administered.
    • Being accountable for the performance in terms of targets for quality, volumes and cost in respect of service delivery, customer dissatisfaction, financial controls and other responsibilities to relevant stakeholders.
    • Liaising with the local authority and other third parties to enable works activities to be undertaken.
    • Ensuring communications are circulated within your team accurately and timely to promote a positive culture and perception of the business.
