    Description

    LONDON HYBRID

    Fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with leadership qualities who is looking for a challenging opportunity in a high-growth TMT environment.

    Our client is on a fast track to transforming the consumer facing landscape it operates in across Europe.

    You will ensure its operations adhere to the legal frameworks in each relevant jurisdiction and provide valuable legal insights to the executive team.

    As well as managing a small legal team, your expertise will safeguard the organisation and support its strategic expansion plans.

    Manage commercial legal contracts and disputes
    Oversee legal aspects of acquisitions, as well as post-merger integration
    Collaborate with finance to maintain and adjust corporate debt facilities
    Implement legal controls into key commercial systems and processes
    Appoint and oversee external legal counsel as needed
    Manage and develop a high-performance internal legal team
    Define the company's legal policy and position, guiding management on regulatory and compliance matters
    A background in private practice or in-house with over 10+ years of experience, including experience in and/or a passion to work in a high-growth environment
    Experience in leading teams and projects across multiple jurisdictions
    Profound understanding of how legal issues impact organisations and the ability to proactively address challenges
    Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and verbally, to provide clear legal advice to diverse audiences
    Problem-solving skills to deliver legal solutions to commercial issues
