    TPFRecruitment proudly represents a prestigious midtier firm ofChartered Accountants headquartered in the bustling city ofReading. Currently we are seeking an adept Audit Manager to jointheir thriving Audit & Assuranceteam.

    Asthe Audit Manager for our client you will be instrumental indriving their audit services forward. We are seeking anaccomplished audit professional with a proven track record at themanagerial level someone who shares our clients passion fordelivering excellence in audit services. In this role you will playa pivotal part in shaping the future trajectory of our clientsservice line and the firm as awhole.

    Yourresponsibilities will encompass the proficient management of asubstantial client portfolio. This entails meticulous planning ofassignments adept briefing of staff on client intricacies ensuringmeticulous adherence to auditing standards and surpassing bothclient and statutory deadlines with finesse. Additionally you willspearhead advisory engagements a testament to your evolving rolewithin our clients dynamicenvironment.

    Responsibilitiesinclude:

    • Overseeassignments in alignment with our client s procedural standardsconfirming arrangements with clients including cost estimations andbilling.
    • Upholdaudit quality as paramount actively engaging in internal andexternal quality assuranceendeavors.
    • Providecomprehensive briefings to staff on client nuances andpreassignment directives offering guidance and support asneeded.
    • Ensureassignments are completed within budgetary constraints promptlyaddressing any significant points with the assignment partner andclient.
    • Cultivaterobust client relationships embodying the ethos of excellent clientservice throughout allinteractions.
    • Fostercrossdepartmental collaboration to fulfill diverse client needsleveraging our client s specialist services whereapplicable.
    • Maintaina keen eye on technical advancements staying abreast of industrydevelopments through continuous professionaldevelopment.
    • Harnessyour business acumen to identify new opportunities craftingcompelling proposals and engaging in clientpresentations.
    • Assumea mentoring role providing guidance to students and/or seniorswithin theteam.


    Requirements


    Personaland professional attributes we seekinclude:

    • ACAor ACCA qualification isessential.
    • Demonstratedexperience at the managerial level in a similarcapacity.
    • Provenability to manage client portfolios and nurture enduring clientrelationships.
    • Extensiveaudit experience delivering highqualityaudits.
    • Familiaritywith auditing within the SME sector isadvantageous.
    • Charitysector experience is desirable but notmandatory.
    • Apenchant for business development activities is highlyregarded.
