Description
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Apprentice to join our organisation at The Arc.The role is working Monday to Friday, 37 hours.
You will be studying towards Level 2 Customer Service and the course is expected to last up to 15 months including the End Point Assessment.
The rate of pay for this position is £6.40 The wage will increase to NMW following the initial 12 months for aged 19 or over.
Purpose:
As a Customer Service Apprentice, your role will involve providing outstanding customer service, handling inquiries, and supporting various administrative tasks.
You will interact with the general public and colleagues, ensuring a high-quality service experience across multiple channels, including face-to-face, telephone, and email.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and offering assistance to customers and colleagues.
Assist in administrative tasks, including maintaining registers, completing paperwork, and supporting marketing efforts for room bookings.
Helping with all Arc services including café and activities.
Work collaboratively within a team to deliver consistent, high-quality service standards.
Contribute to the achievement of Ongo Communities' strategic and operational targets.
Participate in personal support and supervision sessions, engaging in personal development training as required.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to type accurately
Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent customer service skills
An ability to engage with the public face to face and by telephone
Able to use own initiative
Good team worker
