    Description


    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator who is passionate about or has experience in the field of science to join our team.

    As a Commercial Administrator you will play a vital role in supporting our proposal development activities by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations.

    Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the success of our commercial operations.

    The focus of the role will be to become the central point of contact for proposals across the business, the Commercial Administrator receives all Request for Proposals (RfPs) and promptly circulates to key stakeholders, communicating key timelines, milestones and key considerations.

    A key member of the Commercial Hub, the Commercial Administrator upholds the hub principles, shares insights, best practice and ensures optimal cross functional commercial oversight.


    Responsibilities include:
    Assist in the preparation and submission of commercial proposalsMaintain and update the commercial/project management database with accurate and relevant informationCoordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of commercial tasksMonitor and track sales orders, ensuring adherence to timelines and customer requirementsLiaise with customers and vendors to resolve any commercial-related issuesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsProvide support in the development of commercial, marketing and promotional activitiesSupport the business with client feedback, market research and analysis to identify business opportunitiesUtilising and championing preferred business intelligence tools to deliver targeted desk based research RequirementsProficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of CRM systems is a plus Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challengesPrevious experience in proposal writing and coordination or responding to new client opportunities as part of pipeline managementPrevious experience with the healthcare or life sciences industryPrevious experience within professional services consultancy or research environments Degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, health sciences, natural sciences, biomedical (other sectors will be considered should this align well with the job role above)
