Reed HR are working with a Charity based in Central London to recruit a Learning and Development Manager on a Permanent, full-time basis.

Salary circa £50,000 per annum.

This role will be working largely remotely with the expectation to travel to regionaloffices on a flexible basis as and when required.


The main purpose of this role will be to take the lead on the delivery of ongoing personal and professional development of employees and managers alike across the organisation.

You will work with the wider HR team to develop and deliver on all future learningand training needs in line with the broader strategy and objectives of the Charity.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • Oversee an effective review of, and develop L&D processes, policies, systems, and guidance materials with a view to establish and embed a new approach to L&D through effective and blended learning interventions.
  • Act as a solution focussed Partner for all L&D related matters, including talent management, personal development, statutory/mandatory training, and employee development.
  • Support the Learning and Development Partners and wider People Development Team to create and deliver a more robust and devolved approach to learning and development interventions
  • Lead on the reset and redesign of the current L&D offering as well as drive the development of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme
  • Oversee the implementation of new and current mandatory/statutory training requirements and put forward recommendations on future content and delivery methods
  • Develop effective reporting analytics and use data to spot trends and inform decisions that offer practical solutions to people management challenges
  • Design and develop induction programmes for all new starters across the organisation, facilitating and coaching where required
  • Develop, coach and Line Manage the L&D Partners, including all performance related activities


This is a professional and demanding Learning and Development Manager role, and to be successful it is ideal that you have worked within a similar busy Learning & Development capacity previously.

Ideally, you will have proven knowledge of blended learningmodels, including the use of digital learning as a learning intervention, as well as extensive knowledge of key L&D processes, and best practice.
