    Tasks

    Therole

    Revalue Nature (RVN) islooking for an exceptional Director to build our Project Assessmentteam.

    As the Assessment Director you will play acrucial role in defining and overseeing the endtoend development ofour entire portfolio of projects starting from their origination totheir certification by a carbon standard such asVerra.

    In this role you will own and build ourproject assessment process ensuring the team delivers exceptionalanalysis at speed. You will define and implement analytical bestpractice throughout the team and organisation embedding iterativework methods and effective prioritisation. In addition you willpartner with the Science Director and Science team to embed thelatest science into our assessment process

    We arelooking for a versatile leader with exceptional strategicconceptual analytical and communication skills a talent for solvingcomplex problems and a willingness to delve into details andacquire knowledge quickly. Prior experience in Nature BasedSolutions (NBS) and/or carbon markets preferably in an analyticalratings or investment role is required.

    This isa full time position.

    Location: ideallyUK/Europe; Africa or SE Asia will also beconsidered

    What you willdo

    • Own our projectassessment process maximising its ROI and delivering high qualityproject yield vs effort invested
    • Recruit andmanage a team of datadriven rigorous assessors capable ofdelivering exceptional analysis at speed
    • Defineand implement analytical best practice throughout the team andorganisation embedding iterative work methods and effectiveprioritisation
    • Partner closely with the ScienceDirector and Science team to embed the latest science into ourassessmentprocess

    Requirements

    WhatYou Bring to theRole

    • Ability to buildand set up the Assessment Team forsuccess
    • Exceptional track record of buildingand delivering datadriven assessments in complexenvironments
    • Exceptional analytical skills andcritical thinking ability to think strategically about assessmentsand assessment process
    • Ability to applyiterative approaches with multiple layers of inteam pressuretesting and thinking
    • Effective individual andcollective problem solving skills
    • Ability toform recommendations backed by rigorous objectiveassessments
    • Outstanding written and verbalcommunication skills
    • Ability to create clarityand structure
    • Prior experience in Nature BasedSolutions (NBS) and/or carbon markets preferably in an analyticalratings or investment role
    • Driven by a sense ofpurpose and a desire to make a tangibleimpact
    • Evidence that you can work in remoteteams are a selfdriver with a willingness to take initiative andcommitted to continuous improvement and highperformance within acomplex and fastgrowing sector
    • Excited to bepart of an international remoteworking team with a proven abilityto function effectively within diverse culturalenvironments
