    Your Responsibilities

    • Be part of the European Client Delivery Team with operational responsibility for technical services delivered to a portfolio of clients.
    • Own senior technical relationships, including project technical leads, architects, support team leads, and security stakeholders.
    • Oversee delivery of project technical services to clients, including architecture patterns, design and implementation of configuration and integrations and triage and resolution of defects.
    • Oversee delivery of production support services to clients, including first line support, escalation to second line support and client communications.
    • Be the point of contact for technical escalations and manage internal response and communications to resolve quickly.
    • Represent the technical team at client governance forums.
    • Support technical analysis required to support external sales.
    • Oversee and manage the technical team with Europe, including recruitment, onboarding and ongoing line management.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including teams based in Sydney, to deliver technical services to clients.
    • Provide executive reporting to monitor the provision of technical services to each client.
    • Support sales pitches and engagement with new prospects to explain technical architecture, technical roadmap and key processes.
    • Develop the processes and technical documentation required to support a rapid implementation methodology.

    You will bring

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients and a wide range of internal stakeholders both formally and informally.
    • Hands-on approach to delivery and working as a team to meet client deadlines.
    • 10+ years' experience in client facing technical roles, including hands on experience managing technical teams.
    • Experience working with top tier financial service institutions.
    • Knowledge gained through working with global teams that span multiple across time-zones and geographies.

    On any given day you might.....

    • Lead an update in a monthly governance forum to explain the root cause of a production incident.
    • Hold a meeting with the client's support team lead to review outstanding production incidents.
    • Meet the engineering team, based in Sydney, to agree an archictural change before it is communicated to a client.
    • Brief the executive team on the technical challenges experienced by a particular client.
    • Draft the "technical architecture" section of an RFP.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to a team member to support their learning and development needs.
