    Nanomox is seeking a talented and experienced chemical engineer to serve as the engineering lead in the development of its innovative OIS Process.

    The Lead Chemical Engineer will work closely with the team to bring the technology from the laboratory to commercial scale.

    This includes taking a lead role in translating laboratory data to plant-scale processes, optimizing the process for commercial-scale production, providing technical expertise in control and operations, collaborating with vendors, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders in executing technical projects.

    This role requires a blend of on-site and remote work, with on-site work encouraged when appropriate.

    As one of the first technical employees, you will play a critical role in establishing lab facilities and protocols and shaping the future direction of the company.

    A degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
    ~ Demonstrated proficiency in flow sheeting, engineering, and computational software such as Aspen, AutoCAD, gPROMs, or similar.
    ~ Familiarity with hazard and risk identification and mitigation.
    ~ Strong communication skills, both written and oral (English), with the ability to produce clear reports for both high-level and technical audiences.
    ~ Ability to work independently on multiple projects and manage time effectively.
    ~ Experience designing, running and supporting pilots or commercial plants.
    ~ Experience with engineering supply chain management.
    ~ Basic understanding of fundamental crystallization principles and background industrial chemistry knowledge.

    Lead the design process and vendor engagement for pilot and commercial plants for the OIS process.

    Collaborate with the project management team to deliver feasibility and pre-FEED level design and analysis for pilot and commercial systems.

    Analyze data and perform flow sheeting to inform critical plant design requirements.
    Interfacing with lab team and engineering teams to inform other elements of the OIS process development.
    Apply expertise in process scaling to take ideas from the lab to pilot and commercial scale systems.
    Equipment sizing, including equipment process data sheets preparation and validation with vendors.
    Liaise with equipment vendors for procurement and installation.
    Conduct techno-economic analysis and life cycle analysis.
    Suggest new patentable IP and support knowledge management.
