    Description

    Morris & Spottiswood are one of the leading providers of fitout, refurbishment, M&E, facilities management and construction services in the UK.

    We require a Flooring Contracts Manager to operate from our Warrington Office to cover projects across England. The role will work on close liaison with the Scotland based Flooring Contracts Manager.

    Experience and technical ability in flooring are essential preferably with some strong experience of managing subcontractors and labour only subcontractors.

    Your role will take responsibility for managing Flooring delivery in England.

    Some of these works will come from our internal business, there will be a requirement to undertake business development activities to grow the external client base of the England Flooring Division.

    The successful candidate should have hard surface experience, both ceramic and terrazzo tiling is the main criteria that we need to fulfil.

    You will be working in conjunction with colleagues from other divisions of our business, it is critical that you have the ability to plan and monitor project delivery within budget and programme to ensure a level of finish which will exceed our customers' expectations.

    Good people management and customer-facing skills are needed to bring this job to life, as well as sound scoping and measuring skills.

    Commercial / Financial awareness is also required.
    Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and our Safety Management System will also be crucial.

    The role will be based at our Warrington office, but will also involve a significant amount of time on site as well as necessary travel, as and when the job requires.

    hold a valid driving licence
    be IT literate in word and excel
    hold a valid CSCS card and have relevant H&S qualifications for the position (SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos, Scaffolding awareness, etc)
