    We're seeking a Director of Business Development with a proven track record of success in selling solutions to the Financial Services industry.

    Client Details

    Our client stands as a prominent figure in the Financial Services sector, serving as a pivotal provider of ratings, data, research, and analytics solutions. With a worldwide workforce exceeding 2,000 professionals, their global presence solidifies their position as a leader in the industry.

    Description

    1. Drive business development initiatives and develop relationships with decision-making CxO level executives at leading financial services businesses.
    2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
    3. Identify "net new" logo sales opportunities with potential clients in the financial services industry.
    4. Own the sales cycle "origination through to closure/contract signature" working alongside Pre-Sales teams.
    5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the financial services sector.
    6. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
    7. Manage contract negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

    Profile

    The successful Director of Business Development should have:

    • A successful Sales background focused on selling solutions within the financial services industry from the big 4, front office and trading desks of Investment Banks, Technology/Software or Fintech.
    • Demonstrable experience in "Net New Logo" business development and client relationship management.
    • Strong understanding of Financial Services orgs and a CxO network within Capital Markets.
    • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets to drive business growth.
    • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

    Job Offer

    A salary range of £130,000 - £150,000, plus a strong commission plan
