Maintenance Engineer position available in Nottingham with a salary range of £40,000 to £42,000 plus attendance bonuses, performance-based bonuses, standard pension, and excellent training opportunities.

Work Schedule:

4 days on, 4 days off - DAY SHIFTS ONLY

About the Company:

ATA is collaborating with a leading nationwide company in the recycling industry. They are a multi-site organization operating in various cities in the UK, supplying recyclers with materials for producing new plastic and paper goods. The work environment involves a diverse range of equipment such as conveying systems, sorting systems, shredders, crushers, and more. With ongoing projects and ambitious future plans, this company demonstrates a commitment to continuous growth. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Conducting reactive maintenance and addressing breakdowns
Performing planned maintenance tasks
Involvement in projects and continuous improvement initiatives
For electrical engineers: working on 3 phase motors, inverters, control panels, etc.
For mechanical engineers: handling bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Requirements:

Qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering
Previous experience working on heavy industrial machinery
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
Comfortable working in a recycling environment
