    About the role

    AAK are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join the Hull Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, compiling and maintaining financial information to deliver to management for financial reports.

    Main responsibilities

    ·Monthly intercompany recharge invoicing

    ·Interal service administration

    ·Collate documentation for EU VAT and intrastat reporting (NL, BE and IE)

    ·Posting manual cash payments/reciepts

    ·Reviewing, investigating and releasing blocked orders as appropriate

    ·Review of aged debt recievable ledger and contacting customers to encourage timely payments of invoices

    ·Invoice query resolution

    ·Processing manual credits and debit notes

    ·Provide cover for Purchase Ledger Administrator during periods of holiday or sickness as required.

    About You

    ·High School A Levels

    ·Knowledge of and ability to detect, correct and prevent fraudulent activities.

    ·Knowledge of an organisation's billing requirements

    ·Ability to follow the correct practices and procedures for accounts receivable.

    ·Previous experience within a similar role
