To create high level videos for the showcasing & presenting of shortlisted players to both the Technical Director & First Team Head Coach.
Generate new detailed knowledge on players by reporting on 6-10 games per week on video.The role will be primarily based at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre.
Use video telestration software to generate position specific videos of shortlisted target players that are of a level which can be presented directly to both the Technical Director & First Team Head Coach.
Report on approximately 6-10 games via video per week; Effectively utilise available data to make holistic and evidence-based recommendations regarding potential target players in line with our style of play & what we have currently in the First Team & U21 squads.
Conduct career/biographical analyses of prospective transfer targets to provide evidence with which subjective scouting opinions can be challenged or confirmed.
Carry out rigorous searches on selected players to provide a potential insight into the character/lifestyle of the human being behind the player (e.g. social media, news reports).Complete any ad-hoc tasks as required such as assisting in the compilation of videos for potential THFC
Be willing to work unsociable hours to ensure that the highest quality of work is maintained during critical times of the season (i.e. during & in the build-up to a transfer window).
Significant previous experience of working in a scouting capacity at a professional football club (2 years or more).
Excellent technical ability to illustrate a player's playing profile, including their strengths & weaknesses, using software such as Sportscode, Final Cut and/or Piero.
Willingness & inquisitiveness to generate knowledge relating to a player's profile from a number of different data entry points.
Strong work ethic and proactive in formulating the most efficient and prioritised work schedules in relation to the specific scouting/recruitment demands at that time.
Comfortable working evenings & weekends as it is often required.Successful candidates are subject to an Enhanced DBS check with child's barred list.
