    Carrier Rental Systems operate throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market-leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.

    As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for the repair, testing, and statutory maintenance of our range of Industrial Gas Powered Boilers.

    This will mainly be a depot-based role in Walsall.

    Requirements

    We are looking for people with good communication skills (verbal and written), self-motivated, with Commercial Gas Boiler experience, first-hand knowledge of the performance and maintenance of all products, team worker, flexible, time Management.

    As a minimum you must have:
    Previous work experience in a similar role
    Holder of appropriate CSCS card (desirable)
    Responsibilities
    As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited too):
    Undertake high quality repairs and maintenance work in accordance with regulations and legislation
    Undertake fault-finding and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain hire fleet equipment
    Completion of all relevant documentation and ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
    Inspection, Servicing and testing of Commercial Gas Boilers within the depot
    To make off-hired equipment ready for re-hire
    To work closely with the Depot Foreman and Manager to act quickly where problems arise to establish an open system of communication to ensure the consistent treatment of problems
    To adhere to all Health and Safety Procedures within the workshop environment
    To work on the repair and maintenance of all hire fleet commercial boilers
    To service, repair and overhaul equipment and associated components both within a depot environment
    To assess off-hired hire fleet equipment and judge the level of repair needed
