    Description
    Technical Operator


    Starting salary:
    £25,000 per annum


    Working hrs:
    Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 7:00 - 15:30


    Overview:


    My client is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join their team as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes.

    This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.


    Responsibilities:

    • Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper operation
    • Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
    • Load and unload materials into machines as needed
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Inspect finished products for quality assurance
    • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machinerelated problems

    Skills:

    • Strong materials handling skills
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
    • Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery as required
    • Mechanical knowledge to understand machine components and functions
    • Proficiency in CAD software for reading technical drawings
    • Familiarity with tooling and the use of hand tools
    • Ability to weld and fabricate when necessary
    • Basic understanding of logic controllers for machine operation

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
    • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
