We are looking for people who can complement our team in providing technical support to our clients, through:Performing analysis of fault sequences and other system transients, to inform design decisions and support safety case submissions.
Providing model validation support and guidance.
What do we look for in a Senior Nuclear Systems Modelling Consultant?
For our Senior Nuclear Systems Modelling Consultant role we are specifically looking for people with previous experience of systems modelling within the nuclear sector to grow and support our current team, allowing us to meet the ever-growing needs of our current and prospective clients.
Developing and strengthening our technical and commercial relationships with our existing clients.Expanding our technical capability and client base across the new-nuclear sector.
What will working for Senior Nuclear Systems Modelling Consultant be like?
Frazer-Nash empowers and supports engineers to manage the delivery of projects themselves throughout their careers, including:
Managing all aspects of technical projects, including client communication, project delivery and other staff involved in the project.
Developing new business by responding to enquiries and writing bids, and representing Frazer-Nash at client meetings, conferences and seminars.

Experience of applying and understanding nuclear systems codes (e.g. RELAP, GOTHIC, CATHARE, TRACE, VIPRE, S5K) to support the design and/or operation of nuclear power plants.Have a degree and/or post-graduate degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline, or a similar level of relevant experience.
Ability to independently manage and deliver projects to meet customer requirements.Be adept at communicating with clients and others at all levels, including through meetings and presentations, written reports, commercial bids and technical discussions.
An ability to code using python, matlab or other software languages, to support or optimise analysis and simulation.Experience of providing technical and commercial leadership for small project teams.
Experience of writing proposals, client liaison and business development.
