- Provide comprehensive administrative support within the Bursary and Transport Department.
- Assist students with inquiries related to bursaries, scholarships, and transportation options.
- Offer guidance and advice to students regarding financial support available, including application processes and eligibility criteria.
- Process and maintain accurate records of bursary applications, payments, and transportation requests.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure seamless coordination of student support services.
- Deliver excellent customer service, both in-person and via electronic communication channels, addressing student queries promptly and professionally.
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Empathy and understanding towards the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
- Desirable: Previous experience in a similar student advisory role, though not essential.
